UCL Thumb MCPJ

Hi Steve,

I scanned a 20 year old who had a recent injury with the thumb – flexed thumb collison. Pt was most tender at the MCPJ.

There was def something wrong with the UCL area of the MCPJ. There were a few bony fragments so I was thinking an avulsion #? . I just have a lot of trouble making out anything else when something goes wrong in this area. I also have trouble doing dynamic scanning.

Any tips?
