Is peripheral flow of a lesion concerning or is it likely to be displaced vessels?

In the thyroid we consider peripheral flow as a benign feature as it is created by the benign lesion taking up space and pushing native vessels to its periphery rather than invading them.
In the breast I am not convinced it is a strong indicator of benign Vs malignant and the presence of any flow indicates it is a solid lesion which will put it in at least the indeterminate category requiring biopsy.
