this is a patient with sudden onset of left lateral hip joint area pain while exit her car.
in video 1, I can see there is some hypoehoic spot above the joint capsule and under G min muscle
In video 2, this is long axis scan of the video 1.
Would you please give me some comments about the diagnosis of these two videos?

      thanks
      Ray

      Hi Ray,

What an outstanding case and great ultrasound diagnosis.

      The G-Min has significant tendinosis,

And the key finding is the indirect head of rectus femoris is in all sorts of trouble,

The indirect head of rectus femurs is hypoechoic, tendinopathic and the enthesis has a lot of traction change.

It is cool to see when you follow the G-min tendon up to the muscle belly your eyes go to the joint capsule beneath it. On the surface of the lateral hip joint capsule you see the short / oblique axis of the indirect head tendon once you know where it lives and then you make this diagnosis.

      I love this so much!!!!

      Really great work mate.

      Steve
