      I wonder if you have any tips/guidance on this procedure?
      I have a 73yo patient with lateral knee pain, localizing more to prox. Tib-fib joint, with low grade oa (kl grade 1) on lateral knee compartment. I think worth a try of csi to see if it may help.

      HI John,

      Indeed this is possible,
      The approach is from the lantern-lateral aspect lining up the proximal tibia and fibula.
      It is an out of plane injection technique,

      There is a published article which I will try and find for you,

      I have a screen shot of the transducer position, needle orientation and resulting ultrasound image from the article in my teaching material. I have attached this image for you to look at.
