      The superior cluneal nerve can be very difficult to locate with U/S. Do you have any tips or tricks that helps improve the accuracy of locating and injecting the nerve which can be prone to entrapment.

      Hi Murray,

      This is a great topic,

      I like you find these really difficult to identify and we often used a surface anatomy based approach to injections with the ultrasound used to give the correct depth.

      The good news is my great friend Ke-Vin Chang is the master of such small truncal nerves.

      I will upload some material onto the website from Ke-Vin.

      It is great reading, not just for cluneal but also many other truncal nerves.
