      Thanks for the excellent video. I found my first case of a minor medial gastroc + FGA injury today.
      The plantaris was tiny, but clearly visible and intact.
      I would have previously blamed the plantaris for these appearances.

      I agree with your diagnosis,

      It is only a small FGA tear,

      But they still hurt!

      I agree the planters is in the usual place and is normal,

      Thanks, of note this patient was particularly sore, and came in wearing a moon boot.
      I was expecting a larger, more obvious injury.

      Yes, FGA tears are really painful.

      They are often in a moon boot.

      I think this is consistent with your ultrasound findings.
