Achillies Pathology

Hi!

Subjective:
-38 year old female
-12+ months of achillies pain right ankle
-Management has included structured strengthening program
-Shockwave therapy 4 sessions.
-Two high volume achillies injections (30ml of Saline, 10ml local anaesthetic, 1ml of corticosteroid between the achillies tendon and kager fat pad).

Objective:
– Patient has improved since injection intervention but has regressed mildly, still limited somewhat with load progression due to pain and stiffness.
-Goal is to increase walking
-Pain is proximal area of the achillies midportion with very localised area of thickening.
