<p>There does not need to be a fracture to create a Stener lesion, however some do have a small avulsion fracture as the distal end of the UCL is pulled off the proximal phalangeal base.<br />

<p>Do you extend imaging to<br />
Left kidney when there is left varicocele<br />
Right hypochondria along IVC when there is right varicocele<br />
And both when there are bilateral varicocele?<br />
Noted there are consensus paper on this, but the red flag can be hard to determined (sudden onset, not resolving… )<br />

<p>If the fluid is beneath the iliotibial band or the G-maximnus muscle it is in the trochanteric bursa.</p>
<p>If fluid is beneath the gluteus medius tendon not is the sub- gluteus medius bursa.</p>
<p>If fluid is beneath the gluteus minimus tendon not is the sub- gluteus minimus bursa.</p>

<p>Just wondering what types of bursitis you would be calling these. I get confused when I start seeing different pockets of fluid. How do you distinguish between subgluteal medius, subgluteal minimis and trochanteric bursa? </p>

There is no defect in the posterior wall and the fat never enters the canal and hence no fat will exit the superficial ring,</p>
<p>But the posterior wall is very weak.</p>
